Stuart DePina, Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Stuart DePina manages the long-term growth strategy of Tamarac. His balanced leadership is rooted in deep financial experience and the belief that a solid organization is built on customer focus, commitment and thoughtful business practices. DePina's professional history is distinguished by leadership roles in guiding firms through various stages of development including initial public offerings and acquisitions.

Most recently, DePina served as Chief Executive Officer for Who's Calling, a web-based application that uniquely measured online and traditional direct marketing performance, where he succeeded in doubling the company's revenue base and drove profitability. He served as president and Chief Executive Officer of xSides Corporation, a developer of trusted computing and digital rights management technology. He was Chief Financial Officer for Ticketmaster Corporation, Inc., and a partner in the Big 4 firm of KPMG LLP, where he provided consulting and assurance services to a number of clients in the firms' financial services practice.


Clive Matthew Springer, President/Founder

Matt Springer founded Tamarac in 2000 and currently serves as president and as a member of the board of directors.

Prior to bringing over twenty years of experience in the investment management business to Tamarac, Matt served as Director of Trading for Parametric Portfolio Associates. Under his leadership, his team developed automated separate account management software for taxable investors. He then worked directly with Fortune 100 financial institutions to establish distribution channels for the product.

At Parametric Portfolio Associates, Matt also managed over 1,200 taxable accounts valued at $1 billion as a portfolio manager, and he supervised the trade desk that was responsible for executing domestic and international trades for over $4 billion in assets under management.

Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington, a M.B.A. from Seattle University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.


Jim Peterson, Chief Operating Officer

Jim Peterson has more than 30 years of experience in operations management, service, and information systems. Before joining Tamarac, Jim spent 11 years as President of JJP International, Inc. consulting with a variety of organizations, including Microsoft, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Cascade Investments, and the University of Washington. Jim worked 9 years at Microsoft in Information Services and Product Support. He designed and implemented a financial system for the contract-based OEM business that supported its growth from $75 million to more than $1 billion. Jim also designed and implemented systems for technical support, including the highly regarded Support Engineer Knowledge Base. As Director of Operations for Product Support he opened support centers around the country to handle the rapidly growing support staff and call volume. Prior to working at Microsoft, Jim spent ten years in higher education administration.

Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Seattle University with a B.A in Humanities. He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Puget Sound and an M.S. in Astronomy from Swinburne University of Technology (Victoria, Australia).


Mathieu Stroh, Vice President of Marketing

As VP of Marketing, Mathieu Stroh is responsible for building Tamarac's overall market presence and fueling company growth objectives through measured marketing tactics. Overseeing all aspects of brand management, marketing communications, public relations, client marketing, research, and lead generation, Matt is directly accountable for establishing Tamarac as the leading Investment Strategy Management technology brand for advisors.

Prior to joining Tamarac, Stroh oversaw all aspects of marketing at Who's Calling Inc., a web-based application that uniquely measures online and traditional direct marketing performance, targeting marketers. During his tenure and under the leadership of Stuart DePina as CEO, the company enjoyed its two most profitable years, $57 million in gross revenue in 2005 and $78 million in 2006, and culminated into the successful sale of the company.

In addition to his recent five years at Who's Calling, Stroh managed marketing communications at Intel's eCommerce Online Services division, brand management at Go2Net.com and played a leadership role in adding computer hardware to Egghead Software's merchandising resulting in an incremental $75 million in annual gross revenue.

Stroh holds a B.S. in Psychology and Studio Art from Santa Clara University.


Brandon Rembe, Chief Technology Officer

Brandon Rembe has been with Tamarac for over seven years. During his tenure, Brandon has worked in and managed many aspects of the business from development to institutional sales. He previously led the development team as Sr. Developer where he designed and implemented Tamarac's modeling and family account functionality. More recently, Brandon served as Development Manager, where he was responsible for managing the development team and coordinating all technical projects and releases. His success in this arena led to his promotion to Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to joining Tamarac, Brandon worked in the Seattle branch of Smith Barney.

Brandon holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.


Andina Anderson, Vice President of Client Relations

Andina Anderson has been in the financial industry since 1999. Prior to Tamarac, she worked for Ragen MacKenzie as an Institutional Equity Sales Trader. Andina has been with Tamarac since February of 2006 when she was brought in to lead client support. Her efforts have led to the creation of the client implementation process and the support structure for the company. Her contributions also include the design of a number of key Tamarac software features and input into a new user interface founded on client feedback. She has been instrumental in building Tamarac's Consulting services.

Anderson holds a B.A. with double concentration in Marketing and Finance from the University of Washington, a M.B.A. from the University of Adelaide (Australia), and is Vice President of the Seattle Security Trader's Association.


Chris Tarrach, Vice President of Finance

Chris is responsible for the company wide management of a variety of functions including corporate finance, accounting, and contract management.

Prior to joining Tamarac, Chris was controller of Michael Cutler Company, a global agricultural company, where he oversaw a $60 million annual budget and maintained accounting for the company’s seven unique subsidiaries. In 2003, he founded a proprietary hedge fund that utilized a bottom-up, concentrated value strategy to manage investments for 60 high net worth investors. In this role, he operated all aspects of the business including research, analysis, trade execution, marketing and compliance. From 1996 to 2003, Chris traded options on currencies, equities, and the S&P 500 for ROQ Capital, Bank of America, and Tague Securities.

Chris holds a B.S. in Economics with a double concentration in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton Undergraduate Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Darryl Celkupa, Vice President of Business Development

As VP of Business Development, Darryl Celkupa oversees Tamarac business expansion efforts and strategic alliances.

Before bringing his 21 years of experience in investment management and retail investments to Tamarac, Darryl held leadership roles in several financial services companies. His experience with the RIA and independent broker-dealer communities began in 1994, building these business lines for Warburg Pincus Funds. Most recently, Darryl was Senior Client Executive of RIA Partnerships at Russell Investments, which included overseeing the corporate relationships with RIA custodians, back-office service providers, and professional associations such as FPA. Prior to joining Russell Investments, he was a member of the startup executive team that built the third-party distribution effort for Prudential Investments/Jennison Dryden. His unit created the RIA, broker-dealer wrap, bank trust, defined contribution-investment only, and sub-advised channels. Darryl also held an executive position with INVESCO Funds Group and served as a financial advisor at Citibank Investments.

Darryl graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Sociology and earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
