Press ReleaseDirect Trade Processing Established Between Envestnet | Tamarac and Schwab OpenView Gateway
RIAs Can Save Time by Sending Trades Directly to Schwab Advisor Center from Advisor Xi with a Single Click
Envestnet | Tamarac™, a division of Envestnet, Inc. (NYSE: ENV) and a leading provider of integrated, web-based portfolio and client management software for independent advisors, announces streamlined trade processing as part of its ongoing integration efforts with Schwab OpenView Gateway. Trades can now be sent directly from Tamarac’s Advisor Xi platform to Schwab Advisor Center. This new integration, currently in pilot, will be rolled out to mutual advisor clients over the next few weeks of this quarter.Registered investment advisors (RIAs) using Envestnet | Tamarac's Advisor Rebalancing application, part of the web-based Advisor Xi platform (www.tamaracinc.com/advisor.aspx), can now automatically upload their trades directly to Schwab Advisor Center. This saves advisors time they would otherwise spend manually downloading and uploading these files for execution. Advisors can also receive real-time cash and custodial values directly from Schwab Advisor Center, enabling them to make more informed trading decisions.
"These latest steps in our integration with Schwab elevate the account administration process to a new level of efficiency and accuracy," said Stuart DePina, Group President, Envestnet | Tamarac. "By continuing to introduce innovative ways to save RIAs time that can be better spent helping clients reach their financial goals, we are empowering them with the long-term sustainability and scalable growth to further expand their practices."
In addition to Advisor Rebalancing, Advisor Xi's other applications have also been fully integrated with Schwab OpenView Gateway. RIAs using the Advisor View performance reporting and billing application can access real-time data feeds from Schwab Advisor Center regarding account transactions, holdings, statements, trade confirmations, realized/unrealized gains and losses, tax documents, and additional information. Advisors can view these details from Schwab within Advisor View’s Custodian Account Details reports.
"At Plante Moran Financial Advisors, we continue to service our clients individually," said Ann Marie Stieler, Trade Team Supervisor, Plante Moran. "The new integration with Schwab has made a significant impact with reducing risk and saving time for our Trade team. We no longer have to manage hundreds of files. One click and all the trades for each account are on the Schwab trade blotter. We love this new feature!"
Custodial alerts from Schwab Advisor Center are also available in Advisor View’s dashboard, as well as within the enterprise-level Advisor CRM system. In addition, RIAs can designate Schwab Advisor Center as the data source for Advisor View reports on account holdings, transactions, and realized/unrealized gains and losses. This enables RIAs to retrieve the report information directly from Schwab.
"Those advisors who custody with Schwab and rely on Envestnet | Tamarac will see that the integration we have built together is making the advisor workflow more efficient, which means advisors can better serve their clients and scale their businesses for growth," said Brian Shenson, Vice President, Advisor Technology Solutions, Charles Schwab Advisor Services.
